Red Cross
Holiday Gift Run
On Saturday, December 17th, Santa and his Elves set out from Princeton with an emergency services vehicle filled with toys and gifts. The Holiday Gift Run, a special day coordinated by Red Cross volunteers, brings holiday joy to children in area families who have recently experienced a home fire.
Santa and a group of his Elves bearing gifts visited many of these families. One only needs to look at these children’s faces to experience a portion of the sheer glee witnessed throughout the day.
This year’s Holiday Gift program helped bring gifts to 60 children in 27 families.
