Blood Mobile Receptionist

Welcomes donors as they arrive at blood drives, instructs donors on reading and completing necessary paperwork, and assists as needed to help assure the blood drive runs smoothly.

Qualifications:  Must be customer-satisfaction focused and well-organized.
Time Commitment:  Five to six hours a day, one or more days a month.

Blood Mobile Donor Room Volunteer
Retrieves and stocks supplies for the collection staff, manages donor flow, escorts donors and assists as needed.

Qualifications:  Must be customer-satisfaction focused and well-organized. 
Time Commitment:  Five to six hours a day, one or more days a month.

Blood Mobile Canteen Volunteer
Provides refreshments while monitoring donors for reactions.  Checks with each donor to make sure they are feeling well before permitting them to leave.

Qualifications:  Must be customer-satisfaction focused and well-organized. Must also be able to act quickly and calmly to reactions that may occur following a blood donation.  
Time Commitment:  Five to six hours a day, one or more days a month.

Blood Mobile Transport Volunteer
Delivers blood products from various drives throughout the community to the Penn Jersey Blood Region located in Philadelphia.

Qualifications:  Must have a valid driver's license and own transportation. The chapter reimburses mileage. 
Time Commitment:  Five to six hours a day, one or more days a month.
