Who We Are: Generation Red is a group of committed young professionals ages 22-40 from the Central New Jersey Area. The group was created to provide networking, social, and volunteer opportunities while increasing the awareness of the American Red Cross mission. This fun, social atmosphere enables members to connect and interact, while impacting the community in a positive way. How to become involved: Come to a Meeting! • Generation Red meets once every month. These meetings serve as a way to meet current members, plan social and fundraising events, and to learn of the most recent volunteer opportunities. Come to an Event/Fundraiser! • Happy hours are held monthly to network with other young professionals in the area and increase membership. Fundraisers are held annually, and members/nonmembers are encouraged to get involved in order to help the American Red Cross to continue the positive work in our community. Volunteer! • We encourage all members to participate in our chapter volunteer opportunities. Members are apprised of volunteer activities on a regular basis and currently volunteer for the following departments: Emergency Services, Blood Services, Home Delivered Meals, and Health and Safety Services. |
